The Qolşärif mosque (pronounced [kɔlʃæˈriːf], also spelled Qol Sharif , Kol Sharif , Qol Sherif via Tatar: Колшәриф мәчете and Kul Sharif via Russian: мечеть Кул-Шариф) located in Kazan Kremlin was the largest mosque in Russia and, reputedly, in Europe outside Istanbul.
